A wedding procession traveling from Mumbai to Guwahati encountered a strange crisis near Howrah. When about 15 kilometers from Howrah, the leader of the parade realized that there were many elderly people and children in the parade and they could not move from one platform to another in a hurry and catch another train. In this situation, procession leader Chandrashekhar Bagh took to Twitter to seek help from Divisional Railway Manager Howrah and Senior DCM Howrah.

Railway officials opened a special corridor

The two police officers directed to provide necessary assistance to the subordinate employees at Howrah station. Then what happened… As soon as the Gitanjali Express reached Howrah station, railway employees and officials jointly opened a special corridor and all the 35 people from the wedding procession were ferried from platform number 21 of the new complex within a short time Old Complex Station No. 9 provided assistance. Four battery-powered trolleys and wheelchairs have also been arranged for elderly members of the parade. More than a dozen railway employees were involved in assisting the wedding procession.

Due to the special arrangements at the train station, all members of the wedding team took the 12345 Sarigat Express smoothly and arrived at the bride’s home on time. Later, procession leader Chandrashekhar Bagh took to Twitter to express his gratitude to the Railway Minister, railway officials and employees.
