In Kaushambi, a girl has accused a young man of raping her on the pretext of marriage and then getting her pregnant after getting an abortion. Not only this, the girl says that when she asked for marriage after becoming pregnant, the young man refused citing that he belonged to another religion. Then she was forcefully taken to a hospital and got an abortion.
When the girl narrated her ordeal to her family members, they were shocked. After this, the victim reached the police station and lodged a complaint against the young man and his family members. In this case, the police immediately registered a case under serious section against the accused and his family members. The police have arrested the accused and are interrogating him.

This case is of a village in Kada Dham Kotwali. While giving a complaint to the police, the victim said that the boy living in my neighborhood used to come and go to my house. He lured me into his love trap and called me to his house on the pretext of marriage and raped me several times. When I became pregnant, I told him this. After this he started pressurizing her to get an abortion.

After this, the accused, with the help of his mother, forcefully took me to a hospital and got me aborted. When I protested against this and talked about marriage, he refused. The young man said that you belong to another religion so I cannot marry you. He said that if you tell this to anyone, I will kill you and your family. After this, the victim’s family has registered a case against the accused and his family in the police station.

Police engaged in further action
Regarding this matter, DSP Awadhesh Vishwakarma said that a complaint was received in Kada Dham police station. Based on this a case has been registered. Two teams were formed to arrest the accused. He has been arrested. He is being interrogated. Further legal action is being taken by presenting him in the court.
