During this, a person standing below caught the child in his lap. This saved the child’s life. After this, people beat up the father and informed the police.

According to the information, Vinay Prasad, a resident of Sopri of Thana Gauri Bazar, is a drug addict. His 5-year-old son Lucky had a complaint of hernia. When mother Anju Devi showed him to the doctors at Maharishi Devraha Baba Medical College, the doctors advised for surgery. Due to this, the child was admitted to the hospital on 4 September.

Holding both the hands of the child, hung down

The child was admitted in the surgical ward on the second floor. Meanwhile, on Sunday morning, the father Vinay Prasad got angry at something his wife said. After this, the man took the child near the window on the pretext of making him urinate and hung him down by holding both his hands. The boy started screaming and shouting. Seeing this, the people standing below also started pleading him not to do this.

The accused father was handed over to the police

During this time, the wife also pleaded with him not to do this, but he did not listen and left the child. The child fell down, but the people standing below caught him in their arms and the child’s life was saved. After this, people took the child to the emergency. Then the child was shifted to the ward again and the accused father was beaten up and handed over to the police.

Police said this in the case

Sadar Kotwali police station in-charge Dilip Singh said that the child has undergone a hernia operation. He is admitted in the surgical ward. This incident happened on Sunday morning. The accused father was taken into custody, but the family did not lodge any complaint so he has been released.
