A suspicious case of honor killing has come to light in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan. Where a man was shot dead by his in-laws. During this time, somehow the victim’s wife managed to escape from the spot. Now the police is investigating this entire matter. However, all the accused are still said to be absconding.
This sensational incident took place in Surajgarh area of Jhunjhunu district. Where Ankit and his wife Monica lived. According to PTI, on Tuesday night suddenly about half a dozen people entered his house. In which many people including Monica’s brother Rinku were involved. As soon as he came into the house, the accused first attacked Ankit with a sword and then shot him.
During this attack, Monica somehow escaped from the house and managed to escape through the fields. That’s why the attackers could not catch him. Police said that apart from Rinku, some accused have been identified as Pritam, Daulat and Ashok Vikas.
During preliminary investigation, police found out that Ankit and Monica were in a relationship for a long time. Due to which he got married about seven months ago without informing his family. Now both of them were living happily in Surajgarh area.
But Monica’s family was very unhappy with this. The fire of revenge against Ankit was burning in his chest. Because from the beginning Monica’s family was against their marriage. Therefore, Monica’s brother Rinku along with his associates hatched this bloody conspiracy and carried it to its conclusion.
The police have taken Ankit’s body into their custody and sent it for post-mortem. Now efforts are being made to arrest all the accused including Rinku involved in this murder case, the police is continuously raiding in search of them.
