A shocking incident took place in Bengaluru, Karnataka. A 40-year-old BMTC bus driver died of a heart attack while driving. The incident took place around 11 pm on Wednesday when the bus was traveling from Nelamangala to Dasanpur. The video of the incident is now going viral on social media.
That moment can be seen via cameras mounted on the bus. The bus driver collapsed due to a heart attack. The driver immediately fell to the ground with chest pains. Due to loss of control, the bus hit another BMTC vehicle. Meanwhile, the conductor took control of the bus and saved many lives on the road.
The incident took place near Binnamangala bus stand in Nelamangala town when there were passengers on the BMTC bus. The driver subsequently died of a heart attack.

The deceased driver was a Hassan resident
The deceased driver was Kiran Kumar (40), a resident of Hassan. He suffered a heart attack while driving a bus to Dasanpur station in Bengaluru North Taluk on Wednesday. Driver Kiran Kumar immediately stopped the bus on the roadside.
Kiran Kumar has been working as a driver for the past 6 years. After suffering a heart attack, the driver was immediately rushed to the hospital with the help of conductor Oblaish, but Kiran Kumar could not be rescued. A case in this regard has been registered at Nelamangala town police station.
BMTC provides assistance to drivers’ families
Officials said the incident took place around 11 pm when the 40-year-old driver was traveling from Nelamangala to Dasnapura area, his last route of the day.
A statement issued by the company said: “It is with great sadness that we announce that Depot 40 driver Kiran Kumar passed away suddenly due to a heart attack on November 6. Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) expresses its deepest condolences to Kiran Kumar’s family Condolences. The company prays for his soul’s peace.” Senior BMTC officials also met Kumar’s family and offered them help and compensation, officials said.
