Priyanka Gandhi
A series of attacks and counterattacks are underway as a heated debate breaks out between Congress candidate Priyanka Gandhi and state chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan over the Wayanad by-election in Kerala. Meanwhile, Priyanka Gandhi on Sunday asked the Chief Minister what has he done for Wayanad? They should talk about it. Now CPM leader D Raja has hit back at Priyanka Gandhi’s remarks.
D Raja said no one asked her (Priyanka Gandhi) to teach the Left what to do. The left is fighting unemployment, inflation and the destructive economic policies of central governments. The Left is fighting for the revival of the people of Wayanad. Talking about the Wayanad floods, he said the Left is demanding that the Wayanad tragedy be declared a national disaster. No one can question the role of the left.
“Don’t stoop to this level.”
The CPM leader said the Congress should consider this and they should not stoop to this level while fighting the Left. Congress should not consider the Left as its main enemy. If Congress sees the Left as its main enemy, it will have serious consequences for national politics.
