In Bilhaur Inter College, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, the DM has instructed the SDM to investigate the matter of three girl students insisting on coming to college wearing hijab. The incident happened a week ago. However, later the family members of the three girl students admitted their mistake and said that they would be sent to school in the prescribed dress only.

The three girls were not ready to come to school without hijab

According to the information, on August 3, three intermediate girl students had arrived wearing hijab. During this, teacher Jyoti asked the girl students to remove their hijab and asked them to come in the prescribed dress, but they did not agree. After which Principal Surjeet Singh Yadav explained to the girl students, but all three said that they would come wearing hijab even at the cost of expulsion.

On this, their parents were informed and instructions were given not to allow the girl students who did not come in the prescribed dress to enter the school. After which the parents of the three girl students accepted their mistake.

Investigation will be done on these three points

BJP MLA Surendra Maithani expressed concern about this entire matter and requested the District Magistrate to investigate the incident. Meanwhile, DM Rakesh Kumar Singh has given this information to SDM Rashmi Lamba regarding this. SDM said that investigation has to be done on three points. The first of which is whether the girls have been studying in college since the beginning and have come wearing hijab of their own free will?

Second, whether he had any knowledge about the dress or not. Third, did anyone instigate the girls to go to college wearing hijab?
