Kareena Kapoor, one of the top actresses of Bollywood, has been choosing the kind of films for some time now, which has increased the excitement of cinema fans. Now the teaser of Kareena’s new film ‘The Buckingham Murders’ has arrived. In this teaser, Kareena is once again showing her acting side with a suspenseful story. This film of director Hansal Mehta seems to be bringing an interesting story.
Kareena in the role of a detective
In ‘The Buckingham Murders’, Kareena is seen playing the role of Sergeant Jasmeet Bhamra, a detective in Buckinghamshire, England. Apart from being a detective, she is also playing the role of a mother who has recently lost her child. In such a situation, she has to investigate the murder case of a 10-year-old child.
The case is of an Indian family and there is a suspense in it which has not been revealed in the teaser. Jaspreet, who has lost her child, has to put aside her personal grief and solve a case in which everyone seems to be guilty. Kareena’s film is inspired by the work of this Hollywood actress
In a 2023 interview, Kareena told Variety that her character in ‘The Buckingham Murders’ is inspired by iconic Hollywood actress Kate Winslet’s character in the Hollywood web series ‘Mare of Easttown’. She said, ‘I love ‘Mare of Easttown’ and when Hansal came to me, I said I was dying to do something like this. So we changed those lines a bit, in this she (the female character) is a detective cop.’
Talking about Hansal Mehta, apart from films like ‘Aligarh’ and ‘Shahid’, he has also made powerful web series like ‘Scam 1992’ and ‘Scoop’. Hansal is considered a very powerful director and Kareena’s presence in his film is an exciting thing in itself for cinema fans.
Talking about Kareena, after doing a serious role in ‘Jaanejaan’, she was seen doing comedy in ‘Crew’. After this, she will be seen in Ajay Devgan’s blockbuster film ‘Singham Again’. Ranveer Brar, Prabhleen Sandhu, Sanjeev Mehra and Zain Hussain are also seen in Kareena Kapoor starrer ‘The Buckingham Murders’. This film will be released in theatres on 13 September.
