We all must have seen Kangana Ranaut’s film ‘Queen’ for which Kangana got the National Award. In this film, heroine Rani’s (Kangana) fiancé Vijay (Rajkumar Rao) refuses to marry her a few hours before the wedding saying that his and Rani’s lifestyle is different. After returning from London, Vijay finds Rani backward.

After this incident, instead of drowning in sorrow, Rani goes on a honeymoon alone. This is a film story but here we are telling you a similar real story, however, this is more painful than the story of Rani in that film because here after the death of her fiancé, the woman goes on a honeymoon alone in his memory.

A woman named Murphy told her story

In a video shared on TikTok, a woman named Murphy told that her fiancé died a month before the wedding. After this grief, Murphy did not cancel her trip to London which she and her fiancé had chosen for their honeymoon destination and went on a honeymoon alone in memory of her fiancé.

He also shared a clip of his trip on social media. In the voiceover accompanying the clip, he said, ‘I decided to record my trip because grief makes you incredibly lonely.’

The woman further said, ‘I thought that maybe in this way I can connect with someone who has gone through a similar situation.’

This was the experience on my honeymoon alone

In a follow-up video, Murphy shared a glimpse of her first day in London, where she gave a tour of her hotel room, and said that it was really painful for her that her fiancé wasn’t there to experience the trip with her.

A few days later, Murphy shared a video of himself sitting in Hyde Park in London, where he thanked those who supported him on his solo trip.

She said, ‘I wanted to make a video to express how grateful I am for all the messages I have received. I am truly overwhelmed by so much love and I wish I could reply to all of you and spend time with you all.’

Why did you share your grief with the world?

Murphy further explained why she decided to make these TikTok videos, Murphy said, ‘Grief is a very strange process and what I’m feeling today can be completely different from what I’m feeling tomorrow.’

She also spoke at length about her late fiancé. Murph said, “He was very selfless, especially when it came to me.”

Murphy further said, he (fiancé) always wanted to do whatever he could to make me happy and I wanted to enjoy adventure and try to live my life.
