Hamas Chief Ismail Haniyeh had gone to Tehran to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Iran’s newly elected President Masoud Pezeshkian. He was murdered in the guesthouse of the Iranian army IRGC where he was staying. But now the news is that the bomb with which Haniya was killed was smelted and brought to Tehran two months ago.

According to the New York Times report, the remote controlled bomb that was used to murder Ismail Haniya. He was kept in the same room in the Tehran guesthouse where Haniya was staying two months ago.

This information was given in the report quoting several officials including two members of Iran’s army Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). This new revelation is completely different from the initial reports which said that Haniya had died in the missile attack.

The report quoted some Iranian officials as saying that Haniya’s murder in Tehran is a matter of great embarrassment for the IRGC because it operates the guesthouse where Haniya and other dignitaries stayed.

Haniya was staying in an IRGC compound named Neshat in Tehran. This compound is used for secret meetings and to accommodate high profile guests like Hania.

How did the explosion happen?

IRGC officials say that Haniya died in a bomb blast. This bomb was remote controlled. As soon as the explosion occurred. Part of the compound wall of the guesthouse collapsed, windows were broken. However, this blast did not cause much damage to the room next to Hania. Palestine Islamic Jihad leader Ziad Nakhleh was staying in that room. This confirms that Haniya’s murder was foolproofly planned.

According to the report, a bomb blast took place in Hania’s room at 2 am local time. The medical staff of the compound reached there. Hania was declared dead on the spot. Hania’s bodyguard was also declared dead.
Khalil al-Haya, a senior Hamas official, also reached the spot, where he saw Haniya’s body. After this, IRGC’s Quds Force commander Ismail Ghani immediately woke up Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei from his sleep and told him that Haniya had been killed.

An official said in the report that such a blast requires months of planning and surveillance. Some Iranian officials say that they do not know how and when this bomb was brought to Haniya’s room. But some Middle East officials say it was planted in Hania’s room roughly two months ago.

It has been told in the report that the way Hania was specifically targeted. It seems that the bomb was operated by remote control. A similar bomb was used by Israel’s Mossad to assassinate Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen in 2020.

Israel has maintained silence on Haniya’s death

Iran has blamed Israel for the death of Ismail Haniya in Tehran. But Israel has neither confirmed nor denied this attack. After this, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei ordered the Iranian army to attack Israel. Khamenei had ordered this attack after an emergency meeting of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council.

Let us tell you that earlier on April 13, when Iran attacked Israel with drones and missiles at midnight, Syria and Iraq also participated in it. At the same time, Lebanon’s Iran-backed extremist group Hezbollah also attacked the Israeli military base built in Syria.

At the same time, after this order to attack Iran, a response has also come from the Israeli Army. Israeli Air Force Commander Major General Tomere Bar said that the Air Force protects and attacks the country in every field of war. We are ready to give a befitting reply in any situation. Whoever plans to harm Israel and Israeli citizens, we will give a befitting reply. There is no place which is beyond our reach or where we cannot attack.
