Rahul forces government into Lok Sabha
Earlier on Saturday, it was the second and last day of discussions on the Constitution in the Lok Sabha. Rahul Gandhi, leader of the Congress party and leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha, expressed his views. Rahul launched a sharp attack on the government in the Lok Sabha and claimed that the way Eklavya’s thumb was cut, it was like the government was cutting the thumbs of the country’s youth. He said that today there is an ideological battle going on in India and the opposition also has defenders of constitutional ideals.
In his reply, PM Modi mentioned that from Nehru to Rajiv
Rahul Gandhi claimed that Vinayak Damodar Savarkar had said that there was nothing Indian in the Constitution. When you talk about protecting the Constitution, you are belittling and insulting Savarkar. After this, Prime Minister Modi finally responded to the discussion and took a swipe at the Congress. Prime Minister Modi tried to put the Congress in the dock by referring to the constitutional amendments enacted by the governments of Nehru, Indira and Rajiv.
