It’s not that people haven’t tried to escape this curse. Many attempts were made, but all efforts were unsuccessful. The fear of being cursed is so great that villagers consider it inappropriate to step out of their homes on Diwali.
If anyone celebrates Diwali, disaster will come.
Thakur Vidhi Chand, who has seen 70 springs, told us that Diwali has not been celebrated in the village for hundreds of years. If anyone tries to celebrate Diwali, someone will die or disaster will happen in the village.

He said that in order to rid the village of this curse, many times Havin sacrifices were even performed, but all failed.
What is the story of the curse?
It is noteworthy that on the day of Diwali, a woman from the same village performed the sati ceremony along with her husband. The woman went to her parents’ house to celebrate Diwali. Her husband was a soldier in the court. But when the woman had just gone some distance from the village, she learned that her husband had died.
The woman was pregnant at the time. It is said that the woman could not bear the blow and practiced mindfulness with her husband. As she leaves, she curses the entire village that people in this village will never be able to celebrate Diwali. From that day till today, no one in this village celebrates Diwali. People only worship the idol of Sati.
