The UP ATS (Anti-Terrorism Squad) has suspected the involvement of the terrorist organization Khorasan module behind the conspiracy to derail the Kalindi Express train in Kanpur on Sunday. Materials for making cylinder bombs and IEDs etc. were found from Saifullah. In this case, several boys were arrested from Jajmau area of ​​Kanpur. In such a situation, the officials suspect that lone wolf attacks can be carried out in trains at the behest of IS and ISI. NTS has also suspected that along with fundamentalists, people who attack for money can also be involved in this. However, the entire matter is being investigated.

A major rail accident was averted on Sunday in Kanpur due to the loco pilot. Because the Bhiwani-Prayagraj Kalindi Express stopped after hitting an LPG cylinder placed on the track in Kanpur. A bottle of petrol and a matchbox were also found at the spot. Which indicates an attempt at sabotage.

The incident took place at around 8.20 pm on Sunday night when the Bhiwani-bound train was moving at high speed. An FIR has been lodged in the matter and teams of several agencies, including Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) and NIA, have been formed to investigate the case.

In this case, Kanpur police has detained six people including two local history-sheeters. A special team has also been formed to investigate the case. The team will also study whether there is any similarity in this with the recent Sabarmati Express accident in Kanpur.
