Terrorist attack again in Pakistan, 7 security personnel killed, 11 injured

Terrorists linked to the Pakistani Taliban attacked a security post in Pakistan’s restive Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Friday. At least seven Pakistani security personnel were killed and 11 others were injured in this attack. Officials said that the attack took place in Tirah Valley located on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.

The Hafiz Gul Bahadar group, which in February formed an alliance with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP)-affiliated Tariq Afridi group, also known as the Tariq Gaydar group, claimed responsibility for the attack in a social media post.

According to officials, the terrorists attacked the Aurakzai Scouts check post in an attempt to capture it and later set it on fire. He said that the terrorists used explosives and rocket-propelled grenades in the attack.

Let us tell you that last month there was an encounter between PAK Army and terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. 8 soldiers and 10 terrorists lost their lives in this encounter. This attack was carried out by a group of 10 terrorists on a major military base in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. In this attempt by the terrorists, a vehicle filled with explosives collided with the wall of the army cantonment. Due to which a part of the wall collapsed and the surrounding infrastructure was damaged.
