Tensions erupt at actor Mohan Babu’s residence in Hyderabad, Entertainment, Live India,

December 11, 2024: A dramatic incident unfolded in Hyderabad on Tuesday with tension rising at veteran Telugu actor Mohan Babu’s Jalpally residence. Clashes broke out when his younger son, actor Manoj, tried to enter the property, leading to a confrontation with private security personnel stationed at the house.

According to reports, Manoj was forcibly pushed out by the security team, leading to further intensification of the dispute. Television footage showed Mohan Babu allegedly hitting a video journalist covering the incident with a microphone, injuring the journalist, adding to the chaos.

The family feud came to light on Monday when Mohan Babu filed a police complaint accusing Manoj and his wife of conspiring to confiscate his property in Jhapali through intimidation and force.

In response, Manoj addressed the media and claimed that he was not acting for property but to regain his self-esteem. He also sought police protection for himself and his family and met with a senior police officer to discuss the matter. Manoj took to social media to refute his father’s accusations, calling them baseless and malicious.

Mohan Babu’s eldest son Vishnu said the family issues would be resolved privately.

Mohan Babu alleged that on December 8, Manoj and his hired workers created a ruckus at his residence, after which the dispute escalated. He claimed that 30 people, on the instructions of Manoj and his wife, broke into the house, threatened the staff and evicted them from the residence. The actor urged the police to take action against Manoj and his associates, remove them from the property and ensure his safety.

Meanwhile, Manoj lodged a counter-complaint with Pahadi Shareef police station, claiming that 10 unidentified persons entered the house on December 8. He claimed a confrontation with the intruder led to a scuffle that left him injured.

Hyderabad police are investigating the incident and await further developments in the ongoing family drama.
