According to DSP Bharuch Mayur Chavda, last night around 10.30 pm, the police received information that people of two communities had come face to face. When the police reached the spot, there was a ruckus on both sides regarding hoisting of flags. The police came and controlled the situation. At present, an investigation is going on.

There was stone pelting on Ganesh Pandal in Surat

Let us tell you that recently a big incident took place during Ganesh Utsav in Syedpura area of ​​Lalgate area of ​​Surat. Tension spread in the area due to stone pelting on a Ganesh pandal here. After the incident, there was huge outrage among the local Hindu community, after which hundreds of people gathered outside Syedpura police station to protest.

33 accused were arrested

Seeing the tension, the local MLA also reached the spot and efforts were made to control the situation. Reacting to this matter, Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi informed that 6 accused were arrested in the case and 27 other people were also arrested by the police, who were involved in promoting such activities.
