Political strategist and Jan Suraj convenor Prashant Kishore on Sunday attacked RJD leader and former Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav. Tejashwi had raised questions about the law and order situation in Bihar, to which Prashant Kishore quipped that when the Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance) was in power in the state and Tejashwi himself was the Deputy CM, this state was like Switzerland for him.

Attack on Tejashwi Yadav

While talking to journalists in Patna, Prashant Kishore said, ‘How much understanding does Tejashwi Yadav have? If he speaks on the issue of caste, extortion, sand and liquor mafia, then it can be discussed. But if Tejashwi Yadav discusses the model of development, then it is ridiculous. Those who have been in power for 15 years do not know about GDP and GDP growth, then how can one comment on the statements of such people.

‘If Nitish goes there then…’

On the question of crime, Prashant Kishor said that I just want to say that 6 months ago when Tejashwi was the Deputy CM, he saw Bihar as Switzerland. Now he is seeing the opposite. If Nitish Kumar turns around and goes to his side, then Bihar will start looking good to him again.

Let us tell you that this comment of Prashant Kishore has come at a time when Tejashwi Yadav had recently targeted Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and alleged that the state has become a ‘rule of demons’ under his rule. Tejashwi had alleged that Nitish Kumar has become the Bhishma Pitamah of corruption. He does not see crime at all. Nitish Kumar has become helpless.

Meanwhile, Kishor said that in the Bihar assembly elections to be held in 2025, 40 out of 243 candidates will be fielded from the Jan Suraj Party, which he will launch on October 2.

He also said that by 2030, 70 to 80 women will be made leaders of Jan Suraj and underlined that economic independence of women is possible only through their equal participation.
