Team India Series Schedule 2024-25: After winning the T20 World Cup title in June, the Indian team toured Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka. Now the team has to play a series of Test and T20 matches against Bangladesh at home. The Indian team played the last ODI match on the Sri Lanka tour on 7 August. Whereas the next test match against Bangladesh is to be played from 19th September. Meanwhile, the Indian team has a break of 42 days.
But the matter will start from the Bangladesh series. With this debut, the Indian team will play matches continuously in the next 5 months. The team’s schedule is very tight. The Indian team has to play 10 test matches in the next 111 days (3 months and 19 days) from 19th September. Whereas in overall 5 months, apart from 10 Tests, 8 T20 and 3 ODI matches are to be played.
Indian team will compete with these 5 teams
In the next 5 months (before the Champions Trophy), the Indian team has to play series against Bangladesh, New Zealand, Australia and England. It will start with the home series against Bangladesh. A series of 2 Test and 3 T20 matches will be played between India and Bangladesh.
After this the New Zealand team will visit India. Then a 3-match test series is to be played between the two. At the end of the year, the Indian team will tour Australia, where there will be a 5-match Test series between the two. After this, the England team will tour India and then both the teams will play a series of 5 T20 and 3 ODI matches.
The series against England will take place in February 2025, just before the Champions Trophy. In such a situation, the Indian team will have only these 3 ODI matches to make its strong team for the Champions Trophy and for the remaining preparations.
