India vs South Africa 4th T20I: Sanju Samson and Tilak Verma performed brilliantly in the fourth T20 International against South Africa. These players have shown great examples of batting excellence. African bowlers cannot stand in front of these two. He rained runs on the field and India performed miracles and scored a high score of 283 runs. Both players managed to impress with their batting.
For the first time, India had two batsmen score hundreds together in a T20I match.
This is the first time that two Indian batsmen have scored hundreds in T20 internationals. This has never been seen before. Abhishek Sharma plays against Africa along with Sanju Samson. Abhishek also scored in an explosive manner. But he fell short with 36 points. After this, Tilak Verma served as the third batsman. He then batted with Sanju in a manner that is history in itself. Tilak scored 120 points and Sanju scored 109 points.
West Indies record broken
India became the highest-scoring team against South Africa in T20 Internationals with 283 points. No team before India had managed to achieve such a feat against Africa. India broke the record set by West Indies in 2023. The Windies scored 258 runs in T20Is against Africa in 2023.
Apart from this, the Indian team has achieved the second highest score in T20 Internationals. Earlier in 2024, India scored 297 runs in a T20I against Bangladesh. Then India missed out on scoring 300 runs.
