Team India Celebrated Independence Day: Independence Day was celebrated with pomp across the country on Thursday. The whole seemed immersed in the colors of freedom. Meanwhile, Indian cricketers also celebrated independence with full enthusiasm. Indian team head coach Gautam Gambhir, Irfan Pathan, Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav, along with all the players and stalwarts, congratulated them on the Independence Day.
Gambhir hoisted the flag with his family and congratulated them by sharing the photo. He wrote in the post that our heroes pay the price of freedom with blood every day. Gambhir said, ‘The price of freedom has to be paid. Our heroes pay the price every day with their blood. Never forget.’
‘Always keep your tricolor flying high’
Former cricketer Irfan Pathan shared the video and said, ‘Happy Independence Day to all the countrymen. Wherever we go, always keep our tricolor flying high. While Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya wrote, ‘For me, playing for the country will always come first. Best wishes to all of you on Independence Day.
Star batsman Suryakumar Yadav shared a video wearing the tricolor. Suryakumar, the new captain of the Indian T20 team, wrote, ‘My country, my pride, will always work hard to keep our flag high.’

IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) shared a special video on this festival of independence. In this 49 second video, KKR has given highlights of India’s 4 World Cups (1983-2011 ODI and 2007-2024 T20 World Cup). KKR wrote- 1983, 2007, 2011 and 2024, every time we showed the world what we can do.
