Teachers who mark exams without checking copies will be suspended, Education Minister warns! – Teacher suspended for marking answers without checking answer sheets in 10th Rajasthan board exams

The teacher who gave arbitrary marks to students in the Rajasthan 10th Science Examination has been suspended with immediate effect. Nimisha Rani, a science teacher at Mahatma Gandhi Government School in Bhagwanganj, Ajmer, graded students as per her wish without properly checking the copies. This came to light when some bright students received unexpectedly low marks in science classes.

In fact, three students from Rajasthan’s Baran district had lodged a complaint with the board over questionable answer sheets. When the board downloaded the answer sheets, it found that copies of the students’ answer sheets had not been checked. The board took this violation seriously and ordered an immediate re-examination of all three copies. The results showed that none of the questions in these students’ answer sheets were evaluated. The first to bear the brunt were bright students like student Mayank Nagar, who scored zero marks even though he answered correctly, scoring only 58 marks.

Teacher Nimisha Rani only gave marks for yoga in the 2024 high school entrance examination and did not evaluate the answer sheets of science subjects. This was a big oversight. After the matter came to light, a departmental inquiry was launched on the instructions of Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawal. In addition, teacher Nimisha has also been suspended with immediate effect.

During the suspension period, its headquarters will be located at Bherunda Government Higher Secondary School, Bherunda block, Nagaur district. Education Minister Madan Dilawal said this was a very serious matter. Making fun of a child’s future is intolerable at any level. Strict action will be taken against the culprits. In the future, people who commit such serious mistakes will not be spared.
