On the occasion of National Teachers’ Day on September 5, a total of 50 teachers from across the country will be awarded the National Teacher Award 2024. This program will be organized at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi, where President Draupadi Murmu is going to give this award to the teachers.
A total of 50 teachers will receive the award
The National Award to Teachers in Higher Educational Institutions 2024 aims to recognize the outstanding contribution of some of the best faculty members of India. This award is being given to honor the efforts of teachers in bringing change in the lives of students. In this, the winners will be given a cash prize of Rs 50 thousand, a silver medal and a certificate. A total of 50 teachers will be honored with this award, out of which 50 are from Uttar Pradesh, two from Madhya Pradesh and two from Bihar. How are teachers selected?
Every year, eligible and interested candidates submit applications for the National Teacher Award 2024. This award is for all faculty members of colleges, universities, higher education institutions and polytechnics across the country. The selection process for the National Teacher Award 2024 takes place in two stages. In this, a research and screening is done for the first shortlisting of the candidates. After this, a ‘jury’ is formed, which makes the final selection of the award winners from the shortlisted candidates.
