A case of violence against a private school teacher has taken place in Bengaluru. The female teacher beat her students until their teeth were broken. The student’s family has lodged a police complaint over the incident. At present, the police have opened a case for investigation against the teacher involved. However, the school administration defended the teacher.
In fact, a case was registered against a female teacher of a private school in Bengaluru for brutally beating a sixth-grade student. The student’s teeth were allegedly broken as a result of the teacher’s beating.
Beating students with wooden sticks
In fact, students and their friends splashed water on each other during a water play session at St. Christ English School in Block 4, Jayanagar on Thursday. Meanwhile, some water splashed on his Hindi teacher Ajmat. This incident made the teacher very unhappy. In a rage, he beat the student severely with a wooden stick, causing the student to be injured.
Registration of cases against teachers
The teacher contacted the police the day after the incident and lodged a complaint against the boy’s parents. They were also said to have disputed the charges earlier. However, police have issued a notice to the teacher and recorded his statement about the incident.
The officer said the teacher had not yet been arrested, although the potential penalty for the charges was less than seven years, according to media reports.
Such incidents have occurred before
The father of the victim student said this was not the first incident involving his family. Another teacher at the same school had earlier attacked his six-year-old daughter. His hand swelled for a week as a result. However, the matter ended after the apology.
The student’s father said that this time we were forced to take further action. He told me that my son and his friends were filling the hoses with water and spraying them during lunch. When teacher Ajmat reached there and sprinkled water on him, she got angry and hit my son on the face with a wooden roll. After learning of the incident, he went to the school, which apologized to him. However, he decided to pursue the matter further.
School administration defends teacher
Meanwhile, school administrator Arpita VL denied the allegations. He said the boy was injured while trying to escape a teacher’s reprimand. He said the teacher reacted because water splashed on him. But he didn’t hit the student. He picked up the scale to scare him, causing him to run away and hit his face on the table, injuring himself.
