Jammu, September 18: BJP national general secretary and Jammu and Kashmir affairs in-charge Tarun Chugh on Wednesday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has won the hearts and trust of the people of Kashmir and his rally in Srinagar tomorrow will be a milestone in the history of Kashmir.
He spoke to media persons after getting to know about the arrangements for PM Modi’s rally. “The people of Jammu and Kashmir love PM Modi very much and whenever he comes here, people come out in large numbers to listen to their beloved leader,” Chugh said.
The senior BJP leader added that PM Modi has won the hearts and trust of the Kashmiri people through his work. “PM Modi has worked tremendously for the development of Jammu and Kashmir and for winning the trust and hearts of the Kashmiri people,” he said. Chugh said people are very happy and satisfied with the development works, whether it is road connectivity or rail connectivity.
He said the Modi government has also taken up a number of infrastructure projects.
“People from different parts of Kashmir will attend the rally to listen to the speech of their beloved leader, Prime Minister Modi. Seeing the enthusiasm of the people of Kashmir, tomorrow’s rally in Srinagar will be a milestone,” the BJP leader said.
He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government ensured that every household would get electricity, water and gas and the eldest woman in each household would get Rs 18,000. “The landless will get 5 marla of land and the homeless will also get houses,” Chugh said.
