Jamui DSP Satish Suman said that in cases involving punishment of seven years or less, arrest is not mandatory. He said that Mithlesh Kumar, an accused in the fake IPS case, was released after paying bail and going to jail. He said that the police is seriously investigating the entire incident and during the investigation, action will be taken against those involved in the matter and charges will be filed against them.
