Kolkata: Mamta government transferred 42 professors-doctors, doctors who raised voice against rape-murder were also transferred.
Amid protests against the rape and murder of a trainee doctor at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata, the West Bengal government has reshuffled the services of 42 professors and doctors working in various medical colleges and hospitals across the state. The protesting doctors have expressed suspicion of a conspiracy behind the transfers.
