In Chennai, a woman went to the police station to lodge a complaint of molestation. The woman said that autorickshaw drivers were molesting her, but the police did not register the complaint. The police arrested her on charges of prostitution. After this case came to light, the Tamil Nadu State Women’s Commission has recommended action.
