Pilibhit: Floodwaters in Sharda river have submerged many villages, stranding thousands of people with officials not extending a helping hand.
Pilibhit is witnessing flood-like situation due to rising water level in Sharda and its tributaries. Villages on the banks of Sharda river in Kalinagar tehsil and Puranpur tehsil have been submerged. The situation in Chandia Hazara village in Puranpur is very bad. This is the second time floods have occurred here in a few days
