Indian Army’s unique step in Jammu and Kashmir, started a new initiative to fight terrorism
The Indian Army in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) has launched an initiative to train Village Defence Guards (VDGs) to enhance the security of local communities. The aim of this initiative is to teach these citizens the skills required to protect their villages, thereby strengthening the security structure of the entire region.
