An investigation is underway into the VVIP treatment given to Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa in Bengaluru Parappana Agrahara Central Jail. Police Commissioner B Dayanand said on Friday that several prisoners and officials are being questioned in the case. The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate gave permission to transfer Darshan to the jail, after which he was shifted.
