Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan may look serious, but he is equally funny on the sets. He is seen as a prankster in the film Fraternity. Because of this habit of his, Tabu once had to be scolded. He got this scolding from none other than Ajay Devgan’s father Veeru Devgan himself. Tabu herself had shared this story.
The pairing of Tabu and Ajay Devgan has been a hit since the 90s. Fans are always ready to see them together on screen. Both of them worked together for the first time in the film ‘Vijaypath’. Scolded by Ajay’s father
Tabu told in an interview to Lalltop that Ajay is her cousin’s childhood friend. They have known each other since they were 12 years old. While telling the secret of their friendship, Tabu said that our friendship is strong even today because it did not start from the film set.
It was not difficult to work with him. I used to get scolded a lot for trying to maintain his friendship with Veeru ji. They always felt that they knew everything which Ajay was not telling them. He used to call me on the landline and say, ‘You people know everything but you don’t tell me.’ I had no option, I had to hide all his mischiefs.
Did the shooting with a broken leg
Vijaypath, released in 1994, was Ajay Devgan’s fourth film, but Tabu was debuting with this film. Although Tabu was not the first choice for this film. Raveena had told that she was replaced by Tabu. But Vijaypath became such a huge hit that the careers of both Ajay and Tabu got a boost.
Tabu has told that despite the fact that she already knew everyone, the environment of the set was not very friendly. He shot the iconic song ‘Ruk Ruk Are Baba Ruk’ with a fractured leg. It was shot in Karnataka, despite having a leg injury, Tabu shot the entire song in that pain.
Talking about it, others had the guts to say that it is going to be released on 2nd August. The film has been directed by Neeraj Pandey. The film also stars Ajay-Tabu along with Jimmy Shergill and Sai Manjrekar.
