Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal has accepted all the mistakes made during the Akali government. Thereafter religious punishments were announced against Sukhbir Badal and other Akali leaders. Sukhbir Singh Badal will serve Sevadar holding a spear outside the 5 Guru’s Houses. The service will continue from 9 to 10 am. Thereafter, the utensils left in the Langar for one hour will be washed. Apart from this, Sukhbir Singh Badal will listen to Kirtan and recite Sukhmani Sahib.
As a religious punishment, core committee members including Sukhbir Singh Badal and leaders who were members of the cabinet in 2015 will clean the bathrooms on December 3 from 12 noon to 1 pm. Afterwards, he will take bath and serve at Langargarh. Later the holy words of Sage Sukhmani must be recited. Will be sitting outside Sri Darbar Sahib holding a spear. He must wear a plaque around his neck identifying him as Tanhaiya.

Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh of Sri Akal Takht Sahib said it is a shame that the party formed by Sri Akal Takht Sahib has strayed away from its own issues and is at the forefront of talking about Sikh issues today.
Appearing before Jasedhar of the Five Takhts
Sukhbir Badal and many other Akali Dal leaders appeared before the jasedars of the five takhts. During the hearing, Sukhbir Badal admitted in front of Sri Akal Takht Sahib the mistakes he committed during his administration.
Apart from this, Sukhbir Badal also admitted that he wrongly allowed Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim to be pardoned for wearing clothes like Guru Gobind Singh. During this period, Sukhbir Badal served as Deputy Minister in the Government of Punjab.
Fakhr-e-Qaum award withdrawn
The Fakhr-e-Qaum award conferred by Sri Akal Takht Sahib to late former chief minister Parkash Singh Badal has been withdrawn. Because he was the chief minister of the country when all these mistakes happened.
