A suicide attack targeted a police picket in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The attack killed eight people, including six police officers, and injured many others. According to sources, the blast occurred at Aslam checkpoint in Mir Ali Tehsil in North Waziristan tribal district.
It is understood that the suicide bombers came in a tricycle and attacked checkpoints and security force vehicles. Eight people were killed in the attack. They included four police officers, two soldiers and two civilians. Many people were injured in the explosion. The injured have been shifted to Miran Shah Hospital. According to sources, the death toll may increase.
