Mumbai-based Sufi singer Samarjit Singh Randhawa found it expensive to fill diesel in his vehicle in Madhya Pradesh. Sufi singer, who was a victim of adulteration, has lodged an FIR against the petrol pump operator at Binaganj police post (Guna district).
Samarjeet Singh Randhawa is a resident of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Samarjit Singh Randhawa, famous as a Sufi and Punjabi singer, had left with his daughter from Mumbai to go to Kanpur. Meanwhile, when he got diesel filled from the Radhakrishna filling station pump located in Guna district of Madhya Pradesh, his car developed a fault. It is alleged that the employees on duty at the petrol pump were under the influence of alcohol.
According to Samarjit, he and his daughter got scared as soon as the vehicle got stuck in a deserted area. When he contacted the car agency and asked about the vehicle being stuck, the engineer said that there was water in the vehicle instead of diesel.
Singer told that first of all he took shelter in a safe place at night and then called the police on phone. When the police arrived for help, they returned to the petrol pump and asked the employees to take out the diesel from the vehicle and check it.
When diesel was taken out from the tank, there was water in it. This information was given to the pump owner Santosh Meena. Three hours later, Meena came to his pump and apologized saying that rain water might have gone into the diesel tank. But after some time Santosh Meena fled from the spot.
Samarjit Randhawa said that when she reached Chanchoda police station in the morning, some people there pressurized her to compromise. Petrol pump manager Deepak promised to bear the entire expense once the vehicle is repaired, but later became reluctant.
Famous Sufi singer Samarjit Singh complained against the petrol pump owner Santosh Meena and the staff. After which FIR was registered. Samarjeet told that he had filled diesel in his vehicle at Radhakrishna petrol pump located on NH-46 Khatkia. But along with the diesel, the pump staff also put some water like diesel into the tank of the vehicle.
As soon as the vehicle was started after filling the diesel, it stopped after traveling only 500 meters. When a complaint was made, the petrol pump owner initially agreed to have the problem rectified, but later backed out.
The victim Sufi singer somehow reached Guna from Khatkia in her vehicle. After facing mental torture for 20 hours, the vehicle could be repaired with great difficulty. In this case, sealing action has been taken after a complaint against Radhakrishna Filling Station. The Food Supply Department has taken action on the orders of the Collector.
