There was a strong rise in the stock market on Friday, the last day of the trading week. Despite mixed global signals, the Indian stock market had a strong closing after a strong opening.
A rise of more than 1300 points was recorded in Sensex. Whereas Nifty saw a strong rise of 440 points. On Friday, the Sensex opened at 80,158.50 points, and at the end of trading it rose 1,347.36 points to 81,387.16. But it closed. While Nifty opened at 24,423.35 points and finally closed at 24,849.60 points by rising 443 points.
If we talk about the rise, a significant rise was seen in the shares of telecom companies. Among the top 30 Sensex companies, Airtel’s shares saw the highest rise of about 5 percent. Voda Idea shares also fell by 5 percent.
Apart from this, in largecap, more than 4 percent growth was recorded in Apollo Hospitals, 4 percent growth in Adani Ports and 4 percent growth in Adani Enterprises. Wipro shares registered a spectacular rise of 3.64 percent.
Paytm’s shares have registered an upper circuit of 10 per cent, while Shriram Transport Finance’s shares have registered a rise of more than 9 per cent. Shares of bus manufacturing company Ashoka Leyland also saw a rise of 6 percent. Shares of MGL rose by 5.31 percent.
Let us tell you, there was a sharp decline after the capital gains tax was increased on the budget day. After that the market was trading in a range on Wednesday and Thursday. But on Friday there was a stormy rise in the stock market, and investors became rich.
