NCP leader Ajit Pawar
The political situation in the Maharashtra Assembly elections is intensifying. Political parties are busy formulating political equations to tighten their grip on voters. The Bharatiya Janata Party fielded star campaigners for the election campaign. If there is one person whose statement is being discussed the most in Maharashtra at this time, it is that of UP CM Yogi Adityanath. Yogi also triggered a political storm after he tried the slogan he raised in UP in Maharashtra. The statement was so political that Ajit Pawar, chairman of the National Communist Party, which is part of the grand alliance, changed his stance.
In fact, CM Yogi had arrived in Amravati on Wednesday to address an election rally in Maharashtra. He said, I took inspiration from Shivaji and said time and time again that whenever we are divided, we are divided. If we remain united, we will remain noble and safe. Earlier, while campaigning for the UP by-election, CM Yogi had said that if we are divided, we will be divided. No one was surprised by Mahavikas Aghadi’s reaction to CM Yogi’s statement in Amravati, but Mahayuti member Ajit Pawar came out against the statement.
Ajit Pawar says – Only Shivaji’s ideology can work in Maharashtra
When NCP president and Maharashtra deputy CM Ajit Pawar was asked about CM Yogi’s statement, he said the slogan “if you divide, you will divide” will not work in Maharashtra. People here know everything and understand everything. Only the ideology of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj could work in Maharashtra. Now, different political implications are being extrapolated to this statement of Ajit Pawar. It is also said that Ajit Pawar is worried about his vote bank and candidates and hence he distanced himself from CM Yogi’s slogans.
Political analysts believe that Ajit Pawar did not support CM Yogi’s statement because he was worried about losing Muslim voters. Meanwhile, the NCP Ajit Pawar faction also fielded Nawab Malik, who belongs to the Muslim community. In this case, if Ajit Pawar supports Yogi’s slogan, then there may be a situation of division in the party. This is why Ajit Pawar has to say that this will not work in Maharashtra.
BJP opposes Nawab Malik’s candidacy!
The BJP had allegedly advised Ajit Pawar not to field Nawab Malik. Even after this, Nawab Malik Mankhurd filed his nomination from Shivaji Nagar seat and now he is busy campaigning. This was interpreted as the grand alliance also being divided on some fronts, particularly between the Bharatiya Janata Party and Ajit Pawar-led NCP.
Some people also believe that this is Mahayuti’s strategy. Because if Ajit Pawar supports CM Yogi’s statement, then there is a fear that Muslim voters will be dispersed. In this case, if Ajit Pawar has to suffer in any seat, then only Mahayut will suffer in the end. Therefore, the three major forces of the Grand Alliance are busy campaigning according to their respective agendas.
Election on November 20th, results on the 23rd

In addition, leaders of other parties in the alliance also put forward nominations. The state’s 288 seats will go to the polls on November 20, and the results will be announced on November 23.
