The stock market closed in the green zone with gains for the second consecutive day. The 30-share Sensex of the Bombay Stock Exchange closed with a jump of 361 points, while the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty also crossed 25,000 once again. During this period, stocks like HCL, SJVN and Tata Power witnessed tremendous gains.
Sensex had reached beyond 82000
The rise in the stock market continued on the second trading day of the week. The BSE Sensex opened at a level of 81,768.72, gaining compared to its previous close of 81,559.54. After this, the pace of trading remained slow for some time, but then suddenly it picked up speed and crossed the 82,000 mark. Sensex touched the level of 82,196.55.
Nifty also jumped
Like the Sensex, NSE’s Nifty-50 also traded at a fast pace. The National Stock Exchange index opened at a level of 24,999.40, gaining from its previous close of 24,936.40. During trading, it reached a level of 25,130.50. However, its pace slowed down a bit in the last trading hour and Nifty closed at a level of 25,041.10 with a gain of 104.70 points.
These 10 shares ran the most
During Tuesday’s trading in the stock market, 20 out of 30 BSE stocks closed in the green with gains. Among the five stocks that saw the highest rise, Linde India Ltd, a midcap company, closed at Rs 7905 with a gain of 7.17%. Apart from this, if we talk about other stocks, Tata Power Share rose 6.64% to close at Rs 445.60, SJVN Share rose 5.82% to close at Rs 133.65, Zeel Share rose 4.40% to close at Rs 138.90 and Indian Hotel Company share closed at Rs 695.50 with a gain of 4.45%.
Apart from this, Manyavar Share closed up by 4.22%, Tata Communication Share closed up by 3.86%, while among large cap companies, HCL Tech Share closed up by 2.15% and Bharti Airtel Share closed up by 2.10%. Among small cap companies, Aether Industries Share closed up by 9%.
