On the day of Rakshabandhan, there was a dull atmosphere in the stock market, losing the initial momentum, the 30-share Sensex of the Bombay Stock Exchange closed in the red, while the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange closed with a slight gain. But on Tuesday, both the indexes are seen running at a strong pace. While Sensex is trading up by more than 450 points, Nifty is also trading up by more than 100 points.
Sensex rose more than 466 points
The stock market started in the green zone on Tuesday. Amid positive global signals, BSE Sensex opened at 80,632.15 with a gain of 207.47 points, while NSE Nifty started trading at 24,634.20 with a gain of 61.50 points. Till the time of writing the news, at 10.10 am, Sensex was trading at 80,890.84 with a jump of 466.16 points, while Nifty had reached the level of 24,714.60 with a rise of 141.95 points.
1938 shares started running away as soon as the market opened
As soon as trading started in the share market, about 1938 shares registered a rise, while there were 532 shares which started with a decline and were in the red. There was no change in the position of 118 shares. Shares of BPCL, Hero Motocorp, TCS, IndusInd Bank and UltraTech Cement were the biggest gainers in early trade. Whereas, a decline was seen in ONGC, Bharti Airtel, Cipla, HCL Tech and ITC.
These 10 shares rose the most
On Tuesday, the second trading day of the week, among the shares that saw the biggest rise amid the rise in the stock market, BPCL Share, included in the large cap companies, was trading at Rs 351.20, up by 2.23%, while Hero Moto Corp Share was trading at Rs 351.20, up by 2.16%. Was trading at Rs 5,298.75 with a surge. A rise of 2.13% was also recorded in SBI Life Share and it reached Rs 1706.70.
Midcap companies included MFSL Share was trading at 2.68% (Rs 1017.60), Tata Tech Share at 2.65% (Rs 1025.05) and HindPetro at 2.58% (Rs 398). Now talking about the stocks included in small cap companies, Nucleus Share had reached Rs 1411.55 with a strong rise of 20%. Apart from this, EKC Share was trading at Rs 3236.90 with a gain of 11% (Rs 192), GokulAgro Share 9.64% (Rs 241.60) and KingFA Share 9.21%.
