Sunrisers Hyderabad had reached the final of IPL 2024 but then the Pat Cummins-led team had to face the defeat of KKR. SRH has won the title only once in 2016 under the leadership of David Warner. Harshal Patel takes over 100 wickets in IPL
Harshal Patel has been playing in the IPL since 2012 and he has created a unique identity for himself in the IPL. He bowls well in the death overs and his slow balls are not easy for batsmen to read. He changes the speed of the ball very well. Harshal has taken a total of 135 wickets in 105 IPL matches so far. Among them, 27 runs and 5 wickets were his best performance. He has played for RCB, Delhi Capitals and Kings XI Punjab in the IPL.
Purple Cap wins for RCB and Punjab Kings
Harshal Patel is one of the few players in the IPL to win the Purple Cap twice. He performed well for RCB in IPL 2021 and took 32 wickets. He then earned the purple hat to his own name. After that, in 2024, he took 24 wickets. He won many matches for Kings XI Punjab on his own. But Punjab did not retain him. He also won the Purple Hat last season.

Harshal Patel has shown his talents in T20 international cricket for Team India. He has taken 29 wickets in 25 T20 international matches so far. He played his last match for Team India in 2023.
