The Uttar Pradesh government will implement Upliftment Scheme for Minority Girls (UPMG) for the advancement of Muslim women. In this regard, Danish Minister of State for Minority Affairs Azad Ansari met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
This scheme, launched by the Yogi government, will help women suffering from triple talak disease. Additionally, economically weaker women will also be included in the scheme for employment purposes. Accordingly
The Minister of State for Minority Affairs asked the Chief Minister to implement new schemes to improve the social, economic and educational standards of the minority communities.
He demanded a modernization plan for madrassas and the provision of honoraria to teachers who teach subjects such as mathematics, science, computers and religious education in madrassas.
Meanwhile, the honoraria of teachers teaching modern subjects in madrassas is borne by the central and state governments.
