Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA Rakesh Pratap Singh from Gauriganj in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh has made a major announcement. He planned to start a padyatra in Ayodhya along with Rama devotees. The parade will start on November 11th. The march to Ayodhya will be a 108 km long march.

Rakesh Pratap Singh, the Samajwadi Party MP from Gauriganj, achieved a hat-trick by winning the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections for the third time.

Announcing the padyatra of Ayodhya, Rakesh Pratap Singh said that the padyatra will start from his assembly constituency from November 11. He will visit Ramlala in Ayodhya on November 14 along with his friends and Rama devotees.

Padyatra will depart from Gauriganj on November 11

Announcing the plans for the padyatra in Ayodhya, he said the padyatra will stop at Musafirkhana on November 11. After leaving from there, the padyatra will rest at Milkipur on November 12. On November 13, the padyatra will dock at Saket Mahavidyalaya in Ayodhya. Devotees and supporters who are participating in the padyatra with him will have darshan of Ramlalla on November 14. Afterwards, all supporters and devotees of Ram will travel to Gauriganj in buses.

Rakesh Pratap Singh said the procession to Ayodhya will start from Rananjay Inter College in Gauriganj at 9 am on November 11 . He said that he has invited all Rama devotees and all the families in the area to participate in this padyatra and he hopes that people will participate in this padyatra in large numbers.

Over 15,000 devotees will participate in padyatra

The SP MLA expressed confidence that more than 15,000 Ram devotees will join the padyatra and travel with him to Ayodhya and have darshan of Ramlala.

MLA Rakesh Pratap Singh said they wanted to go to Ayodhya to attend the inauguration of the Ram temple. He had proposed to all the MLAs in the Assembly to collectively go to Ayodhya and take darshan of Ram Lala, but his party’s high command refused to do so the next day. It was said that on behalf of the Samajwadi Party president not to travel to Ayodhya with the chief minister and ministers. Therefore, following the party’s high command, he did not go to Ayodhya at that time.
