SP leaders will visit the district on Saturday to gather information related to the recent murder of a Dalit man in Rae Bareli. A Samajwadi Party delegation will visit Rae Bareli on Saturday to ‘collect information’ about the murder of a 22-year-old Dalit man on August 11. A party official has given this information.
Party leader Arjun will also meet Pasi’s family members. Arjun Pasi was allegedly shot dead after a fight with some local people in Salon area of the district. Police said that at least six accused have been arrested so far in this connection.
SP leaders will go to Rae Bareli following Akhilesh Yadav’s instructions
Samajwadi Party chief spokesperson Rajendra Chaudhary said on Thursday, ‘Following the instructions of Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav, a party delegation will visit Rae Bareli district on August 17. Recently Arjun Pasi was shot dead allegedly by influential persons. The delegation will express condolences and gather information about the incident.

Rajendra Chaudhary said that the delegation will include Mohanlalganj Lok Sabha MP RK Chaudhary, Samajwadi Baba Saheb Ambedkar Vahini’s national president Mithai Lal Bharti, Samajwadi Party’s Uttar Pradesh unit vice president CL Verma and Bachhrawan MLA Shyam Sundar Bharti and others. He said, ‘The purpose of this visit is to express solidarity with the bereaved family and allay the concerns related to the tragic incident.’
