A case of honor killing due to love affair has come to light in Satna district of Madhya Pradesh. Here the girlfriend’s brothers killed her lover by crushing him with a stone and threw the body on the roadside. The girlfriend is married and she was talking to the deceased on the phone. His brothers came to know about this. At present the police has started investigating the matter.
According to the information, this incident took place near Saraiya village of Sabhapur police station area on the intervening night of 15-16 August. Here a person named Dharmendra Namdev was brutally murdered. He was killed by throwing a stone on his head. After this the dead body was thrown on the roadside. In this sensational murder case, after investigation, the police arrested two people on the basis of suspicion.

Police say that Dharmendra Namdev was talking to a married girl on the phone. Dharmendra was having an affair with the girl. Dharmendra’s girlfriend was at her maternal home in Badhan Tola of Sabhapur police station area.
When the girl was talking to Dharmendra on the phone, her two brothers Anil and Raja came to know about this. Both knew Dharmendra. Therefore, under some pretext, both of them called Dharmendra Namdev to a deserted area late at night, where he crushed him to death with a stone. In the morning, when passers-by saw the dead body on the roadside, they informed the police.
Police reached the spot after getting information. Police saw that Dharmendra Namdev was murdered by pelting a stone on his head. Police registered the case and started investigation. Call details of Dharmendra’s mobile were extracted, due to which the whole story came to light. Police have taken Anil and Raja, brother of deceased Dharmendra’s girlfriend, into custody on the basis of suspicion. Prima facie the case is of murder. Police suspect that the girlfriend’s brothers have murdered Dharmendra. However, the police is interrogating both of them.
