Zeeshan Siddiqui
Baba Siddiqui’s son and NCP leader Zeeshan Siddiqui also participated in TV9 Bharatvarsha’s “Satta Sammelan Maharashtra” program on the Maharashtra assembly elections. While leaving the Congress, Zeeshan Siddiqui publicly expressed his views on many important issues related to the elections. Talking about leaving the Congress, Zeeshan said, We stayed in the party for 15 years but came out feeling sad. Ajit Pawar’s faction’s NCP has fielded Zeeshan in Bandra East. Zeeshan is also the MLA from the seat.
Zeeshan Siddiqui further said that as far as Rahul Gandhi is concerned, he is a good leader. Mallikarjun Khage ji is also a good leader. I have never had a bad word to say about him, but those around Rahul Gandhi have taken it upon themselves to show him his inferiority complex. Even today, there is a large portion of Congress that is anti-Muslim. We have never done religious politics and we never will.
“Yes, I was asked to lose weight to meet Rahul”
At the same time, regarding losing 10 kg to meet Rahul Gandhi, Zeeshan said, yes, someone told me. I was told that if you lose 10 kg then you will meet Rahul Gandhi. We were in Congress for 15 years and sadly left. Talking about opening a store of love and keeping love in your heart are two different things. The Nationalist Congress party we are in now is not anti-Muslim.
When asked what kind of leader UP CM Yogi Adityanath is, Zeeshan said I don’t know him well. Talking about his speech on Batenge Nahi To Katenge, Zeeshan said, how can I express anything in four words. I believe that like Hindus, Muslims too should remain united. Stay united not only with your loved ones, but also with others.
Giriraj Singh’s remarks condemned
Responding to senior BJP leader Giriraj Singh’s statement that if someone slaps a Hindu, then everyone should slap a Muslim 100 times, Zeishan Siddiqui said this is a wrong statement , I condemn this. I heard no such statement from him. When I ask people to vote, I’m asking for my job. I never engage in religious politics.
Zeshan said – My family has never been threatened
Lawrence Bishnoi’s name cropped up in Baba Siddiqui murder case? To this, Zeeshan said, yes. Were there any threats to the family before the massacre? “We have never received any threats before,” he said. As far as I know, we have never received any threats from Lawrence Bishnoi or anyone else.
