A heart-wrenching incident of gang rape has come to light in Hyderabad. Here a 24-year-old software engineer was gang-raped by two people including his childhood friend. On the basis of the complaint of the victim girl, the police have registered a case against the accused.
The police have taken the victim to the hospital for medical examination. Efforts are being made to nab the accused, who are said to be absconding since the incident. People are shocked to hear about this incident which brings shame to the relationship of friendship. There is a demand for immediate arrest of the accused.
In the complaint given in the police station, it has been said that the girl resident of Vanasthalipura has got a job in a software company. In this happiness, she went to a party with her childhood friend Gautam Reddy on July 29 at 7.30 pm in a hotel near Hyderabad-Vijayawada Highway in Omkar Nagar.
After going to the bar, the victim and the accused drank heavily. After this, when both of them became extremely drunk, her friend took her to the hotel room. Raped her there. After she came out, her cousin went into the room and he also made her a victim of his lust.
After the intoxication subsided, the victim found herself half naked. Seeing the accused in the room, she started screaming. Hearing his voice, the hotel staff reached there and by then the accused had fled from there. After this the victim called her brother and narrated her ordeal. Brother took him to the police station.
ACP Kasireddy said that based on the complaint, a case has been registered at Vanasthalipuram police station. The police is conducting raids in search of the main accused Gautam Reddy and his cousin living in Hayat Nagar Lecturers Colony. They will be caught and interrogated and strict action will be taken.
