The gang rape case of an emerging social media influencer from Maharajganj district of Uttar Pradesh came to light in a Nepali hotel. In a complaint filed with the police, the social media influencer alleged that three youths from Maharajganj district, one from Gorakhpur district and two from Nepal not only attacked her but also gang-raped her in the hotel.
According to sources, the social media influencer had visited Nepal. During this time, she had been hanging out in clubs and casinos in Belahawa. She then went to the hotel where four Indians went with her. It is understood that the four Indians and two Nepalese youths in the hotel started forcibly raping her. When the social media influencer protested, he was beaten up.

Hotelier calls Nepal police
When the accused protested, they started beating the social media influencer. During this time, the girl raised an alarm, so the hotel owner informed the Nepali police. After investigation, the police registered a case against four Indian and two Nepali youths based on a complaint from an Indian social media influencer and sent the accused to jail.
The accused was remanded in police custody for 7 days
DSP Bhairahawa Manohar Shrestha said that six youths have been sent to jail for gangraping a Hindu girl. Three of the youths, Afroz (36), Salu Khan (27), Atar Raza (31), are residents of Maharajganj district, while the fourth youth, Badlu Khan (27), is a resident of Gorakhpur. Apart from this, a case has been registered against Shahrukh Teli (32) and Akbar Khan (25), residents of Palikachar in Om Satya village, Nepal. To investigate the matter, the accused have been remanded in police custody for seven days and investigation has begun.
