The Indian women’s cricket team suffered defeat in yet another match. The Indian team played a three-match ODI series against Australia. Australia set target of 299 for India, Annabelle Sutherland scored a hundred
In the third ODI against Australia, Australia batted first and scored a high score of 298 runs. This meant that the Indian women’s team had to score around 300 points to win, but the team failed to do so. Annabel Sutherland hit a brilliant century as the number five batsman for Australia. He scored 110 runs in just 95 balls. In the end, Ashley Gardner and Tahlia McGrath scored more than 50 points, helping the team achieve a big score.
Arundhati Reddy took four wickets to give hope to the team but the team failed again
India’s bowling was once again the weak link in this match. Only Arundhati Reddy took four wickets while Deepti Sharma registered one success. Apart from this, the wickets of all bowlers remained empty. In fact, Australia’s first four wickets were taken by Arundhati Reddy. Smriti Mandhana scores a century but rest of the team gets no support

India could not even complete their entire quota of 50 overs and were eliminated after scoring just 215 runs in 45.1 overs.
