On the occasion of “Social Unity Council” organized in Vashi, Navi Mumbai, NCP founder Sharad Pawar has expressed the fear of unrest in Maharashtra like the incidents in Manipur. He emphasized on the incidents in Manipur, where the once united Kuki-Meitei communities have now descended into anarchy and violence.

Sharad Pawar expressed his concern by mentioning the seriousness of the situation in Manipur, where violence has been going on for months due to mutual dispute between two communities. Due to this many houses were destroyed, women were harassed and dozens of people lost their lives. Emphasizing the long-standing tradition of communal harmony, he said that once upon a time in Manipur, where two communities lived together, they are now not even ready to talk to each other.

‘The province that was united for generations has now become disturbed’

Sharad Pawar said, “Manipur was mentioned in someone’s conversation with me. It was also discussed in the country’s Parliament. People of different castes, religions, languages โ€‹โ€‹of Manipur came to Delhi to meet us. What does this picture say? This The province, which had been united for generations, became turbulent. Houses were set on fire. Women were tortured.”

Sharad Pawar said, “Manipuri, who have lived together for generations and maintained harmony, are not ready to talk to each other today. Today, when such a big crisis has hit a state, it is the responsibility of the rulers to take care of it.” Face it, give people confidence, create unity, maintain law and order, but unfortunately today’s rulers have not even looked at this.”

Situation may be like Manipur in Maharashtra too!
