Indian singer Sunidhi Chauhan’s voice is one of the iconic voices of India. Sunidhi has sung many iconic songs in Bollywood, from ‘Dhoom Machale’ to ‘Bidi Jalaile’, but these days, along with film music, she is focusing a lot on doing independent music collaborations and concerts.

Now Sunidhi talked a lot about working with Pakistani artists in a new interview. He told why Pakistani music is becoming very popular all over the world. Sunidhi said that Indian music labels and many artists have started putting more emphasis on this bat that no matter how the song plays, the purity of the music is being compromised.

They make songs for the love of music
Sunidhi said in Raj Shamani’s podcast, ‘I work with a lot of Pakistani people and why should I say Pakistani, because when we meet I feel like we are the same people. There are same artists and same people too. We talk the same, eat the same food, we are all the same, in fact, there is no difference. When I go to US, UK, I meet many Pakistani friends there too.

Explaining the reason why Pakistani music has spread across the world like a wave, Sunidhi said, ‘I feel that cricket and film industry are big there, but music is the biggest. Many artists are given a lot of love there, the artists there get a lot of love here too. Where making songs for the love of music is the main reason, purity emanates from there and then the listeners feel the same.

This Pakistani song is spoiling Sunidhi’s mind
Sunidhi praised Pakistani Coke Studio and said, ‘Some songs are such that I wonder how they thought of this? How did you do this? And many music videos. She told that nowadays she is crazy about Coke Studio Pakistan’s song ‘Turi Zandi’ (Hassan Rahim and Shazia Mansoor). Sunidhi said that the music of this song and its video have ‘messed up’ her.
