Siemens executive killed in New York helicopter crash visited India last month

Siemens Spain CEO Agustin Escobar visited India weeks ago Killed in a plane crash In New York on Thursday. He said that he was influenced by the innovation in his Indian hub.

“From R&D Lab to manufacturing facilities, I saw innovation in every stop,” he said.

Shri Escobar highlighted major moments including deep-diving on future occasions in Siemens Bangalore Hub, searching for innovation in his Center of Excellence Engineering and R&D team in Pune, and was joining his teams in Kalwa, Mumbai.

He said that the best part of his journey was meeting Siemens teams and his teams were deeply inspired by commitment to energy and excellence.

He said, “From the town hall to the discussions of the small group, every conversation showed me why India is such an important part of our global success story,” he said.

Eliminating his position, he thanked the Siemens India teams for making their journey so memorable and meaningful. “Your dedication to change everyday life through technology with purpose is notable!”
